A six-year-old boy from Croatia is amazing his family and friends with what seems to be a ‘magnetic’ body.
Ivan Stoiljkovic is reported to have the ability to attach metallic items such as spoons, mobile phones, and even frying pans to his body.
His family, residing in a village close to Koprivnica, claims he can bear a load of up to 25kg of metal adhered to his torso simultaneously.
To showcase his unique skill for local reporters, he removed his shirt and affixed cutlery, a frying pan, and even dumbbells onto his body.
Additionally, his family asserts that he possesses healing abilities with his hands, as he reportedly relieved his grandfather’s stomach discomfort and alleviated the pain of a neighbor who injured his leg in a tractor accident.
Ivan’s grandfather, Ivo Stoiljkovic, recounted that when his grandson placed his hands on his stomach, they became incredibly hot, and the pain simply disappeared.
It is also said that Ivan exhibits greater strength than other children of his age, being capable of effortlessly lifting bags of cement weighing up to 50lbs.
Skeptics have raised doubts, suggesting that the video may not be genuine, pointing out several indications of its possible falsity. They argue that an individual with magnetic capabilities must lean to attract objects, but Ivan does not lean. They also mention that if gravitational force was at play, it would manifest in the video, which it does not.
Tests conducted on Ivan have indicated that he does not possess magnetic qualities, as evidenced by a simple compass test where the needle failed to align with any magnetic influence from him.
The mystery of why objects adhere to the boy’s body remains unsolved. Scientists have reasoned that human skin is naturally coated with grease and oil, which could create a slimy and sticky effect.
