Charges of murder have been placed against a man following the discovery of a woman with fatal injuries in a toilet of a fast food restaurant located in southwest Sydney.
Around 2.30am (AEST) on Saturday, paramedics responded to a call made by staff at the restaurant on Camden Valley Way in Gregory Hills, where they found both a man and a woman injured in the toilets.
The 30-year-old woman was transported to Campbelltown Hospital, where she unfortunately succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival.
The 38-year-old man, who hails from Ingleburn, received treatment for minor injuries at Liverpool Hospital, subsequently being released into police custody and later facing murder charges.
Bail has been denied for him, and he is scheduled to appear at Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday.
