A woman presumed dead, a prostitute, was being transported in a coffin after allegedly “dying” during sex, when she unexpectedly woke and began to scream.
The incident took place at the Manor Hotel in Bulawayo, where the woman, known as Mandlo, who worked at the venue, collapsed and seemingly died while with a client.
According to reports, as her body was being placed into a steel coffin, she abruptly woke up, exclaiming, “You want to kill me, you want to kill me.”
A crowd that had gathered to witness the removal of the woman’s “lifeless” body fled in panic upon her awakening.
“It felt like a scene from a movie. People were fleeing in all directions. It was terrifying since we all believed she had died; she was so cold. Truly, miracles do happen,” remarked one witness.
The police reportedly maintained their composure and attempted to communicate with the woman.
Hotel manager Raymond Nariti, who acknowledged that Mandlo was a visitor, stated: “The police arrived with a steel coffin, but they left without a body. So I am uncertain about what transpired.”
