Daylight saving helps the economy

Research conducted in New South Wales and Victoria indicates that summer months lead to increased worker productivity, thanks to the extended daylight hours.

This boost contributes an impressive $70 billion to the economy.

While one might complain about Western Australia not participating in daylight saving, they are certainly making a significant contribution to the economy through the ongoing mining boom…oh dear, did I mention that? Well, it’s no secret, as there is indeed yet another mining boom underway.

So, kids, if you’re looking to earn some cash and take pride in the current strength of the Aussie dollar against the US dollar, consider heading to a mine…apparently, there are still particular sectors in desperate need of workers.
