In a thrilling Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal, Daniel Ricciardo secured his first Formula 1 race victory after a remarkable late surge.
The Australian driver closed in on Nico Rosberg from Mercedes during a strong final stint, overtaking the German with only two laps to go.
In the final laps, Ricciardo remained flawless, achieving his maiden win and putting an end to Mercedes’ perfect season start.
Finishing in second place, Rosberg crossed the line just ahead of Sebastian Vettel from Red Bull.
