A wild rampage has been carried out by a crazed kangaroo, which smashed through the front window of an Australian home, leaving behind blood stains on the carpet.
Local reports indicate that the kangaroo was part of a mob that invaded the front garden and eventually found its way into the swimming pool of a residence in Echuca, Northern Victoria.
This large eastern grey kangaroo, along with three others, inflicted thousands of pounds worth of damage to Paul Giogianni’s home after breaking the front window.
The kangaroo sustained serious injuries as it crashed through the window, leaving a bloody trail across the house. Consequently, the animal was euthanized.
In an interview with local media, Mr. Giogianni commented: ‘It’s fortunate that the damage is limited to the lounge room and a small area of my bedroom.
‘It could have rampaged through and wrecked the entire house.’
The truck driver is unable to replace any of his belongings until his insurance company assesses the damage.
When he notified work about the situation, he mentioned that his boss was skeptical regarding a kangaroo breaking into his house.
The reason for the large kangaroo’s presence in the residential area remains unclear.
‘It’s just unheard of for it to come into town with so much feed available around,’ added Mr. Giorganni.
