After a remarkable victory over England at Wembley, Australia has secured a spot in the final of Rugby League’s Four Nations.
The match started with England taking the lead as Ryan Hall scored the first try.
However, Australia quickly responded with tries by Luke Lewis and Tony Williams, taking the lead. England managed to stay in close range, trailing by only four points at halftime after Hall scored his second try.
As the second half began, Australia took control of the game. Greg Inglis and Paul Gallen each scored, extending their lead to 24-8.
Although Jack Reed’s converted try narrowed the gap to 10 points, Darius Boyd effectively dashed England’s hopes for a late comeback with a try just 8 minutes from the end.
Despite this, England displayed resilience, with Chris Heighington scoring their fourth try of the match, but Australia sealed the victory with a final try from Chris Lawrence.
