Lion attacks trainer

SHOCKING amateur footage has surfaced showing a lion attacking its trainer at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Filmed on September 1 and later posted on YouTube, the video captures the moment when the male lion unexpectedly turns on his trainer during an exhibition.

The trainer was quickly taken to a local hospital, where he received stitches for his injuries.

Titus and Drew Ellis, a honeymooning couple who recorded the incident, have recounted their shock.

Mr. Ellis remarked: “We weren’t expecting it at all. It just all happened so quick, you know. Suddenly he was on top of him, and it was obvious that it wasn’t a playful jump.”
