Toni Braxton isn’t ‘feeling the love’

Toni Braxton has announced that she will no longer be making music.

The R’n’B artist stated that while she won’t be recording albums anymore, she might tour occasionally.

She mentioned: I’m just not going to do any albums anymore; perhaps I’ll tour occasionally because I enjoy performing, but not as much as I did previously. But there won’t be any new projects.

Toni Braxton is retiring from making music

During an appearance on American television, she shared that she doesn’t ‘feel the love’ for music anymore.

“It’s not affecting me; I’m not experiencing that feeling I’ve always had when I perform,” she expressed. “It’s fading away from me. I’m uncertain about what’s happening in my life. Maybe it’s a mid-life crisis? My heart isn’t in it anymore, and I hate to admit that.”

Last December, Braxton was hospitalized due to blood clots. She required immediate treatment following complications resulting from Lupus, which is a potentially life-threatening autoimmune disease.

This marked the second occasion in 2012 when Braxton had to be hospitalized due to her condition. In January, she was taken to a hospital in Los Angeles after her immune system began to fail.

Over two years ago, Braxton disclosed that she has Lupus, the same disease that claimed her uncle’s life. Additionally, she is dealing with a narrowing of her heart’s blood vessels.

Braxton released her sixth studio album, ‘Pulse’, in 2010.
