Considered one of the largest girlbands of the Noughties,
Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena, and Siobhan Donaghy individually departed from Sugababes amid speculation of internal conflicts and disagreements.
However, the girls, now recognized as MKS, have reunited and performed their first concert in over ten years at a New Year’s Eve event.
The trio appeared delighted to be reunited, smiling as they held the artwork for their debut album, One Touch, backstage during the performance.
Coordinating their outfits for the show, the singers dressed entirely in black after announcing their reunion in July of the previous year.
Siobhan sported a black vest top combined with leather trousers, while Keisha opted for a dark top paired with patterned lace tights.
Mutya, exuding a casual yet chic vibe, wore a black dress with a blazer, accessorized with large silver hoop earrings.
The trio performed a cover of Rihanna’s hit song “Diamonds”, along with their first Sugababes single, “Overload”, and their later release “Freak Like Me”.
On Twitter, Keisha shared photos of the girls together, expressing: ‘Argggh love my sisters. (sic)’
Mutya chimed in with: ‘We promised every1 something frm us by new yrs and we gave it hope u all enjoyed last nite who ever was there an enjoyin it on youtube xxxxx.’
Siobhan, another band member, stated: ‘Happy new year everyone!!!! Well this certainly goes down as the best yet.’
The pop stars indicated that their forthcoming album surpasses their original One Touch, with Mutya confidently asserting that fans will adore their new material.
She remarked: ‘I think it’s a step up from the first album. I just hope people will enjoy it. Actually, I know people will enjoy it!’
