Professor Green has announced that he is in discussions with Sid Wilson from Slipknot regarding an upcoming collaboration.
The rapper, who released his second album ‘At Your Inconvenience’ last year, shared that he was recently contacted by the DJ from Iowa’s metal group, who expressed that he is a big fan.
When discussing his plans for future collaborations, Green mentioned: “Collaborations come up naturally…I don’t try to force anything. We met Sid Wilson, the DJ from Slipknot. He told me he was a big fan. How mental is that? So we were talking and he’s going to send some stuff over.”
Additionally, the rapper indicated his desire to collaborate with Raf Rundell of 2 Bears for his next album, noting he had reached out to the dance producer this time.
Regarding this, he stated: “I want to get in with Raf Rundell from 2 Bears as I love the album. I actually just reached out and said ‘I fucking love your album and I’d love to do some stuff’, so hopefully that will happen.”
Furthermore, Green expressed his hope to once again work with Emeli Sande, with whom he collaborated on his Number One single ‘Read All About It’.
This summer, Professor Green is expected to maintain a regular presence on the festival circuit, with appearances scheduled at several festivals.
