In 1991, this then little known band released Screamadelica, an album never bettered for fusing blissed out rave with messed up, scuzzy rock.
Primal Sream will be playing it live at the Big Day Out.
Performing Screamadelica live 19 years later only emphasises how good it is, with the 15 minute ‘Higher Than The Sun’, taking in every genre imaginable before singer Bobby Gillespie leads the celebratory ‘Come Together’.
There quite honestly isn’t another band around that come across this cool without even trying.
