Peter Andre’s brother has days to live

Peter Andre was “in pieces” yesterday after being told his cancer-stricken brother has been given two days to live.

The singer, 39, postponed the rest of his UK tour to be at 54-year-old Andrew’s bedside.

Peter heard the bombshell news while preparing for a gig in Cardiff.

The Aussie heart-throb agreed to perform but all other dates between now and Christmas, will be rearranged for the New Year.

Andrew had been responding well to treatment but worsened last month. His family are flying from Australia to be at his bedside in a London hospital.

A source said: “Peter loves his fans and is loathe to let them down but he is sure they will understand.”

Peter’s spokesman said: “He is in bits. This has come as a big shock.”

“His brother Andrew’s health has taken a turn for the worse and Peter has made the decision to be with him and his family at this time.

“Fortunately it has been possible to reschedule the five remaining 2012 dates on the Up Close & Personal Tour to take place following his pre-existing shows in January 2013.”
