The twin boys of Paul Weller and his wife Hannah have arrived.
The boys, named Bowie and John Paul, were welcomed into the world on Saturday (January 14).
An announcement on Weller’s official site elaborated, “Both boys are healthy and doing well following the birth. Paul and Hannah are absolutely thrilled and over the moon.”
Additionally, it continued, “Paul wants to express his gratitude to his fans for all the well wishes over the past few months. Congratulations to Paul and Hannah.”
Married in a small ceremony on the Italian island of Capri in September 2010 after dating for two years, the couple now has seven children together, from four different relationships.
Weller is set to release his new album ‘Sonik Kicks’ on March 26. In a recent interview, available for viewing by clicking the player above, he referred to his upcoming 11th studio project as “very electronic sounding.”
This record, featuring guest vocals from Noel Gallagher and Graham Coxon, serves as the follow-up to his critically acclaimed 2010 album ‘Wake Up The Nation’.
