My Chemical Romance sacked Pedicone for stealing

My Chemical Romance have dismissed their drummer Mike Pedicone following allegations of theft from the band.

The band, who recently headlined the Reading And Leeds Festivals alongside Brian May, expressed their “heartbreak” at the drummer being caught “red handed” after their performance in Auburn, Washington last week.

A message from guitarist Frank Iero on their official website, Mychemicalromance.com, stated, “Some shit happened, and before the blogosphere goes crazy with false claims and absurd opinions, we want the true story to come from us. Please listen carefully, as this will be the only time we discuss this. The relationship between My Chemical Romance and Michael Pedicone is done. He was caught red handed stealing from the band and confessed to police after our show in Auburn, Washington.”

The message continued, “We are heartbroken and feel sick to our stomachs over this whole situation. The band doesn’t intend to pursue legal action or escalate this matter further than necessary. We simply want him out of our lives. Those who play in this band are like family, and family should not exploit one another as he has. We are currently moving forward and expect to have a new drummer for our next gig. The show must go on.”

Pedicone joined the band from The Bled as their touring drummer, replacing the previous drummer Bob Bryar late last year, just before the release of their fourth album, ‘Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys’.
