A denial of conspiring to murder soul singer Joss Stone has been made by a man.
At Exeter Crown Court in the UK, Kevin Liverpool, aged 34, also refuted charges of conspiring to rob and harm Miss Stone.
In court, Junior Bradshaw, 31, faced charges related to conspiring to rob and harm Miss Stone but chose not to enter any pleas.
Both men, residing at St Stephens Close, Manchester, were remanded in custody, with the case adjourned until December.
A trial date has been set for 6 August 2012.
Miss Stone, 24, was absent from court during the proceedings, though her mother, Wendy, attended as a member of the public gallery.
The arrest of the two men occurred in June in the Devon town of Cullompton, close to the singer’s residence.
The singer is widely recognized for her popular tracks such as Super Duper Love and Fell In Love With A Boy.
In addition, she was recently cast as a Bond girl in a new James Bond video game and is reported to have an estimated fortune of £9 million.
