It has been reported that Liam Gallagher walked out on George Michael, who was performing at a gig in London, after just 23 minutes.
Accompanied by his wife Nicole Appleton and friends Tamzin Outhwaite and Kate Thornton, the Beady Eye frontman attended the concert at London’s Earls Court Arena but was mostly found at the bar with bandmate Andy Bell.
“A source revealed that the gig commenced at 8.15pm, and as the lights dimmed, Liam and Nicole arrived, quickly greeting Tamzin and the others in their vicinity. The girls appeared to be in high spirits, dancing around and thoroughly enjoying themselves,” the insider shared.
In contrast, Gallagher reportedly became less enthused and grew frustrated with a group ahead of him trying to capture his attention. “At 8.38pm, Liam and Andy stood up and headed to the bar,” the source added.
The prior night’s concert was a part of Michael’s ‘Symphonica’ tour and marked the second of three London shows that were rescheduled after his recovery from pneumonia in 2011. Recently, the singer cancelled several performances, stating that ‘major anxiety’ was the reason for his decision.
