Kurt’s image is out of Courtney Love’s control

According to reports, since 2010, Courtney Love has lost control over Kurt Cobain’s image.

Documents allegedly indicate that in 2010, after receiving a $2.75 million loan from their daughter Frances Bean’s trust fund, Love consented to relinquish her role as the acting manager of End of Music LLC, the entity managing Cobain’s publicity rights.

It is reported that this arrangement granted 19-year-old Frances Bean authority over the publicity rights associated with the Nirvana icon’s name, likeness, and appearance until Courtney Love repays the loan.

Additionally, the report asserts that Love possesses no authority over either Cobain’s or Nirvana’s music, which is entirely managed by Primary Wave Music CEO Larry Mestel. Recently, Love claimed she owned the rights to Cobain’s music and asserted her ability to approve its use in commercial projects. This claim arose when she criticized The Muppets for “raping” Kurt Cobain’s legacy by featuring the classic Nirvana song ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ in the 2011 film The Muppets.

Honestly, one must wonder why Courtney should have any control over anything that belonged to Kurt.

She profits from Nirvana’s songs, despite the consensus that she should not be part of that revenue stream.

There have been reports suggesting she may have had a role in Kurt Cobain’s death.

She comes across as a parasitic individual willing to do anything to achieve her desires… It’s no surprise Frances Bean wishes to distance herself from her… Courtney is often viewed negatively, likened to someone with about as much musical talent as an ant portraying Iron Man in the latest Avengers movie.

Last year, Love was said to have signed a deal to write her memoir. It is believed that this book aims to “set the record straight” regarding her marriage to Cobain, her career in rock music and acting, and her connections with various celebrities.
