Fan breaks her leg to be the same as Jessie J

After being targeted by a crazed teen stalker who claimed to have broken her leg to resemble the star, Jessie J is “living in fear.”

The obsessed fan claimed she injured her leg to wear a cast similar to the one Jessie wore after her foot injury last year.

The teen found the singer’s private information and sent her a picture of the broken leg.

This Jessie-obsessed teen, whose identity is protected for legal purposes, also inundated the artist with a series of unsettling messages, including: “I will do anything to be just like you.”

A close source to Jessie remarked: “This occurrence has left her horrified.”

“Jessie is an incredibly sensitive and kind person who cherishes her connection with fans.”

“However, this incident pushed her beyond her limits, and she became genuinely frightened and upset.”

“She was saddened that a fan would harm themselves to mimic her — but she also felt threatened regarding her own safety.”

The 24-year-old singer, who refers to her fanbase as “Heartbeats,” has increased her security team.

Over the past year, she has also faced online trolls who have mocked her weight, clothing choices, and hairstyle.

Numerous fans have shared photos showing tattoos of Jessie’s face inked on their bodies.

Recently, at an intimate gig in London, Jessie admitted to the audience that she felt “frightened” due to her vulnerability on stage.

Details about how the fan sustained her leg injury remain unclear. A representative for Jessie declined to comment on the incident last night.

Still, a source stated: “With Jessie’s rising fame, she realizes it’s crucial to reassess her security and the associated risks.”

“She adores her fans, but these situations are inevitable in today’s world. Such occurrences affect all pop stars as they gain fame. It’s one of the perks and pitfalls of celebrity. Jessie wishes it weren’t the case.”

Following her foot injury in a stage fall, Jessie will endure arthritis for life.

She had her cast removed last October, but noted that high heels would always come with pain for her.
