Backstage at OneFest yesterday, Damon Albarn entertained his friends by playing some background music… using an old gramophone.
The frontman of Blur brought it along from home and was heard playing ballads by the French singer Edith Piaf.
Later, he delighted the crowd of 3,000 with tracks from his new opera album, Dr Dee.
Unfortunately, he didn’t pack any of his school gym attire to participate in the old-fashioned sports day.
