Last week, she made headlines by going topless during a concert in Brazil.
However, it appears that Courtney Love found herself in even more controversy at the Sao Paolo Music and Arts Festival.
A new video has surfaced, capturing the outrageous singer unleashing a foul-mouthed tirade directed at an audience member who held up a photo of Courtney’s late husband, Kurt Cobain. ‘I don’t need to see a picture of Kurt, and I’m going to have you fucking removed if you keep throwing that up,’ she declared.
‘I’m not Kurt – I have to deal with his legacy, his ghost, and his child every day. Holding that up is both stupid and rude, and I’ll beat the fuck out of you if you do it again.’
Continuing her diatribe, the 47-year-old singer then turned her ire towards Grohl, Cobain’s former bandmate from Nirvana, who currently leads the Foo Fighters.
‘You weren’t fucking married to him; I fucking was. You weren’t the one who got kicked out of a band by him – that was Dave,’ she stated.
‘Go see the fucking Foo Fighters and try that shit,’ she added, following it up with an obscene gesture towards the fan and exclaiming, ‘Great, we’ll leave now. Fuck you!’
She then stormed off the stage, with her band following suit, prompting the audience to chant her name in a bid to bring her back.
In the ensuing video, a member of her entourage appears, advising the crowd that they should chant ‘the Foo Fighters are gay’ if they wish to see Courtney return.
Courtney eventually made her way back to the stage, where she seemingly took another jab at Grohl, telling the audience: ‘I don’t care what you enjoy listening to at home, but if a guy takes money off my kid’s table, fuck him.’
Later in the same performance, Courtney removed her white T-shirt and performed topless. The singer ‘literally pulled down her tube top, one side at a time, as the crowd cheered.’
Kurt Cobain tragically took his own life at the age of 27 in 1994, leaving behind their daughter Frances Bean, who is now 19 years old and estranged from Courtney.
In December 2009, reports emerged that a judge had issued a temporary restraining order, restricting Courtney from having any direct or indirect contact with her daughter.
The star has recently shared her feelings about missing Frances.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, she stated: ‘All I can feel is how much I love her.
‘I’d give anything to hear the sound of her heels walking down the hall past my bedroom.’
