Christopher Lee to release heavy metal album

At 90 years old, Christopher Lee, known for his roles in films like The Hobbit, Lord Of The Rings, and Star Wars, is set to release ‘Charlemagne: The Omens of Death’ on May 27, coinciding with his 91st birthday. This album serves as a follow-up to ‘Charlemagne: By the Sword and the Cross’, which was released in 2010.

The iconic actor who brought Dracula to life is now venturing into heavy metal music, further enhancing his dark persona.

Richie Faulkner, guitarist for Judas Priest, has arranged the 10-track album, as reported.

Regarding the album, Lee shared: “While the first ‘Charlemagne’ album leaned towards symphonic metal, this one, ‘The Omens Of Death’, is purely heavy metal. I’ve contributed my parts, which are distinctly heavy metal. Although I’m not screaming or anything like that, it definitely falls within the heavy metal genre.”
