Alice Cooper, the shock rocker, has been conducting Bible classes for kids.
At 63 years old, Alice, who was once prohibited from performing at a venue due to accusations that his show was anti-Christian, serves as a substitute teacher at his local church.
He remarked, “You should see the look on people’s faces. ‘Alice Cooper teaching Bible class? But he’s the spawn of the Devil!'”
The reformed alcoholic — known for his shows featuring fake blood, electric chairs, and snakes — conducts his lessons in Arizona, US.
Alice, whose real name is Vincent Furnier, mentioned: “Surely people get it by now — Alice is just a character. Alice hates going to church, but I attend every Sunday.”
Alice, famous for “School’s Out,” who grew up with a pastor father, stated that he turned his life around following the birth of his daughter Calico in 1981.
He reflected, “Before Cali came along, I was living Alice’s life. Every day was just one big party, fueled by a bottle of whisky and a case of beer.”
