Alice Cooper claims there are no rockers today

Alice Cooper has asserted that modern rock’n’roll stars are nonexistent because today’s musicians apparently lack “testosterone”.

In a recent interview, the veteran rocker expressed that contemporary artists are excessively intellectual and do not possess the same raw intensity experienced by him and his peers.

“I was part of the era with Keith Moon, John Lennon, and the Hollywood Vampires drinking club,” he reflected. “All of our friends were passing away at 27.”

He further stated, “If you’re a rock star, that’s what you’re supposed to do. There are no real rock stars anymore. They are significantly deficient in testosterone. I keep searching for that 17-year-old who wishes to hang his guitar down low and play it from his crotch, not from his brain.”

The singer, whose birth name is Vincent Furnier, also made it clear that he has no plans to retire his wild alter-ego. “People enjoy Alice so much; why would I want to create another character?,” he mentioned. “Do you think I get tired of it? I don’t. I find playing Alice to be infinitely enjoyable.”

Alice Cooper released his 22nd studio album, ‘Welcome 2 My Nightmare’, in September of the previous year.
