A glimpse at the cover for Destiny’s Child’s first release in more than eight years.
The 31-year-old artist shared a black and white photo featuring herself alongside bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams on her Facebook page.
She expressed her excitement: “I am so proud to announce the first original Destiny’s Child music in eight years! – Beyoncé.”
The album, titled Love Songs, is said to contain just one new song, Nuclear, which Pharrell Williams produced.
Beyoncé has been collaborating with Pharrell, her husband Jay-Z, and producer Timbaland on her upcoming album.
Additionally, she has been working in the studio with Justin Timberlake, who has recently made a return to the music scene.
Beyoncé noted: “I’ve been working with Pharrell and Timbaland and Justin Timberlake and Dream. We all started in the ’90s, when R&B was the most important genre, and we all kind of want that back…the feeling that music gave us.”
