The voting process for triple j’s Hottest 100 – often referred to as the “world’s biggest music democracy” – is now officially underway.
Indeed, you now have the opportunity to influence the outcome, whether it’s Lorde’s ‘Royals’ or Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’ taking the top spot when the results are announced on Australia Day (January 26). Just pick up to 10 of your favorite songs from 2013 listed for voting – but remember to complete your selections in one go. Voting is open from today until noon on January 20.
To encourage participation, triple j is offering voters the chance to win a double pass to every triple j-sponsored festival and gig in 2014, including events like Laneway Festival, Splendour In The Grass, Groovin The Moo, Falls Festival, as well as performances by The National, Phoenix, and Arctic Monkeys.
