Women are more sexually adventurous then men

New figures indicate that women appear to engage in talking dirty and being sexually adventurous more naturally than men.

The survey conducted by K-Y’s Good in Bed revealed that women not only tend to be more experimental in the bedroom but are also significantly more likely to share fantasies and engage in dirty talk with their partners compared to men.

Most of the participants, all of whom were in relationships, expressed their enjoyment of sex with the lights on, using sexy lingerie, exploring different areas of the home, and utilizing lubricants. Nevertheless, a greater number of women than men were open to going further in their sexual experiences.

According to the Survey Director for the site, the results may surprise many. ‘For a long time, our society has viewed women as prudes who limit the sexual expression of their male partners,’ she stated.
‘This survey indicates that, at least among our sample of women, this perception is simply not accurate.’

Men tend to exaggerate, while women often downplay: why do we still concern ourselves with the number of sexual partners someone has? As increasing numbers of ‘silver surfers’ explore online dating, is it possible that they are actually MORE adept at it than younger individuals?

Being sexually adventurous appears to correlate strongly with the sexual satisfaction of both partners. In fact, couples who are open-minded and frequently adventurous tend to enjoy longer-lasting relationships.

Fifty percent of respondents indicated that they watch porn together as a couple.

In a previous survey, Good in Bed disclosed that women frequently feel more bored than men in their relationships, even though they report higher sexual satisfaction.
‘Women have long been perceived as prudes… which simply isn’t the truth.’ One-quarter of those surveyed—over half of whom were married—revealed that relationship boredom led to infidelity, and nearly 60 percent expressed a desire to explore new experiences to invigorate their sex lives.

In both surveys, most participants were married with children, shedding light on the adage that children likely should never consider what their parents do behind closed doors. The site also recently published findings suggesting that more men fake orgasms than previously realized, and that as women age, they achieve orgasm more frequently and with greater ‘quality.’

A shared enjoyment of orgasm is one thing both genders agree on, although simultaneous climaxes are much less common than many Hollywood films might lead one to believe.
