Prior to giving birth in the street, Jane Eadie believed she was experiencing a stomach upset.
A mother, aged 44, who was unaware of her pregnancy, is now recuperating at her home after delivering her baby on a street in Derbyshire.
Jane Eadie, hailing from Langley Mill, expressed her astonishment upon giving birth to her third child, a boy named James, on King Street in the UK.
She had attributed her weight gain over the past nine months to the cessation of certain medications.
Additionally, Mrs. Eadie believed she had entered menopause.
While out shopping, she began to feel unwell and took a seat on a bench.
Her daughter, Elizabeth Anderson, 23, was present when she unexpectedly gave birth in front of other shoppers.
“I simply couldn’t believe it. It felt like a dream until we laid eyes on the baby. He’s amazing,” shared Ms. Anderson.
“People kept rushing over to us, saying congratulations.”
