If like me, you find the devotion and love your pet gives you a big is part of your life. After three weeks of home isolation, I find myself missing the pets of my children and grandchildren.
When I used to call on them, I was met at the door with pleasure with lots of barking and purring – they recognised me and showed their love for me.
The longer the isolation goes on (who knows for how long), the pets will gradually forget me.
I miss them all…even the snake and dragon. You may think they are cold and unfeeling but they know me when I pick them up and cuddle them.
Possibly a part of the Virus that is not considered is this separation by the elderly from their family pets.
Remember your furry friend is just a telephone call away.
