What constitutes the ideal happy family?
Recent research suggests that having two daughters and older parents is key. Daughters tend to foster more harmonious sibling dynamics, which makes life easier for their parents. Moreover, parental happiness seems to increase with age, with individuals over 40 reporting greater contentment than those younger than 30.
However, this picture-perfect family scenario can change drastically—like when one child becomes pregnant at 15, while another turns to pole dancing at 17, falls into drug use by 18, and finds themselves involved in sex work by 20.
