A new study delves into the connection between emotions and attraction, revealing that moody men tend to attract more women, while happy women draw in more men.
Women were asked to evaluate hundreds of images based on sex appeal, finding that they were least attracted to smiling, happy men and most drawn to men displaying a brooding expression.
In contrast, men preferred smiling, cheerful women and showed the least attraction towards those who appeared confident and proud.
Should these findings influence the choices made for those essential dating profile pictures? It all hinges on what one desires. If the goal is sexual attraction, then absolutely. However, for the pursuit of a relationship… not really.
For long-term relationships, a pleasant personality remains the top priority.
