Willem Marx, Kate Middleton’s first boyfriend, has found a girlfriend who strikingly resembles his sweetheart from Marlborough, but their remarkable appearances are where the similarities end.
Unlike the Duchess of Cambridge, whose boldest moment was strutting down a St Andrews university catwalk in a sheer black dress, Shirley Leigh-Wood Oakes, typically known for her prim demeanor, has engaged in a daring photoshoot with celebrity photographer John Stoddart.
It remains unclear what Willem, an Oxford-educated classics scholar and now an award-winning journalist recognized for his war reporting, thinks of the images depicting Shirley, 26, who serves as editor of eco lifestyle magazine Dare 2, seated cross-legged on a bed clad in a black basque and stockings, exuding a flirtatious expression.
John Stoddart, the photographer, has previously captured a myriad of glamorous women, including Catherine Zeta-Jones, Liz Hurley, and Sadie Frost, for his exhibition titled Love And Lust.
