Once again, the time has arrived for major film studios to unveil their top contenders for the Oscars in February.
This period of the year sees films, which might have been released earlier, thrown into the spotlight for Oscar consideration – typically, a release from George Clooney is expected around this time.
If you recall a Clint Eastwood film centered on baseball and the curveball, you might remember his knack for discovering talented actors/actresses. One of those talents he discovered is Amy Adams, who eventually secured an Oscar for her performance.
This year, Miss Amy Adams has two films premiering in the run-up to the Oscar season, and she is nearly guaranteed to emerge as the next Oscar winner for best actress. Her portrayals in both movies are remarkable.
