The US doesn’t want Colin Firth fucking swearing!

Colin Firth’s Oscar winning performance in hit film The King’s Speech has been toned down for young US audiences.

A string of F-words uttered by Firth’s character, who is frustrated at not being able to speak properly, led to the Oscar winning movie getting an adult rating in the States.

Now producers have re-tweaked the scene with Firth and his speech therapist, played by the one and only Geoffrey Rush, and it will open in more than 1,000 US movie theatres nationwide with a PG-13 rating on Friday.

A film company spokesman said, “This enables young people troubled by stuttering, bullying and similar trials to see it.”
