Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen is being lined up to play Inspector Clouseau in another remake of the Pink Panther films.
MGM producers want Cohen, 39, to follow in the footsteps of Peter Sellers and Steve Martin. They think that Ali G and Borat funnyman can add the clueless detective to his repertoire of characters.
But let’s face it…as funny as he is…he can’t possibly step into Peter Sellers shoes. But on the other hand, he can’t be as bad as Steve Martin, who was as useless as a bag of lights.
