In a ceremony held in London, Sir Paul McCartney married his partner of four years, American heiress Nancy Shevell.
The nuptials took place at Old Marylebone Town Hall, the same venue where Sir Paul wed his first wife, Linda Eastman, back in 1969.
Originally from New York, Ms Shevell, 51, is an heiress to a trucking empire.
Having spent 20 years married to American lawyer and political candidate Bruce Blakeman, she became engaged to Sir Paul in May.
Earlier this month, Ms Shevell took up residence with Sir Paul at his St John’s Wood home in London, where the reception was held.
Sir Paul, 69, previously lost his first wife, Linda McCartney, in 1998 and endured a contentious divorce from his second wife, Heather Mills, in 2008.
Let’s hope that this time around brings good fortune for Paul.
