The Dictator, aka Sacha Baron Cohen, has become one of the richest actors in Hollywood.
The funnyman has earned over $40 million in the last year, thanks to box office successes with The Dictator and Les Miserables.
He also banked a big pay cheque for providing the voice of lemur King Julien in Madagascar 3.
Sacha has taken the crown of highest-paid British actor in the movies from Twilight star Robert Pattinson.
However, despite earning more than such A-listers as Tom Hanks ($34million) and Brad Pitt ($32million), the actor wasn’t included on the annual Celebrity 100 list because he wasn’t considered famous enough.
The rundown of powerful figures in Tinseltown was topped by Tom Cruise, who was paid $90 million last year for his roles in Jack Reacher and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.
