Ronan Keating will star in his first film role in a romantic comedy called Goddess.
The Boyzone singer is flying to Australia next month to start work. His co-star will be Laura Michelle Kelly, 30, who has been in a string of West End musicals.
The film revolves around a woman who lives in a farm in the Outback with two toddlers.
She makes contact with the wider world via her internet webcam, finding fame and fortune.
Ronan is said to be very exited.
