According to reports from Spain, Cristiano Ronaldo, a footballing genius and diver, has become engaged to his underwear model girlfriend.
The Real Madrid star, earning $400,000 a week, is said to have traveled to New York to propose to the stunning Irina Shayk.
He presented the 25-year-old Russian beauty with a single rose before kneeling down to pop the question. They spent that night together, and later, Ronaldo, 26, returned to Spain. Irina was subsequently spotted wearing a large diamond ring.
A family friend expressed, “We are very happy for them.”
