In connection with a plot to castrate and murder Justin Bieber during a concert in the US, two men have been apprehended.
Mark Staake and his nephew Tanner Ruane, hailing from New Mexico, were recruited by fanatic Dana Martin, who is currently serving two life sentences at a state prison near Las Cruces for the rape and murder of a 15-year-old girl in 2000. Martin’s obsession with Bieber was such that he even had a tattoo of the singer inked on his leg.
The duo were commissioned to assassinate a total of four individuals, which included two acquaintances of Bieber in Vermont, then proceed to New York where they intended to castrate and kill the singer, as well as eliminate his bodyguard during a performance at Madison Square Garden the previous month.
However, for reasons yet to be clarified, Martin alerted the police about the two men. Staake was taken into custody in Vermont prior to executing any of the intended murders.
Ruane, meanwhile, managed to reach New York, but police heard him apologizing to Martin for mishandling the agreement during a phone call. He was then arrested by law enforcement who discovered him in possession of murder weapons and pruning shears.
