Katie Price states that her intention at the start of her reality series was not to find “just another one of me.”
In an interview, the glamour model and Signed by Katie Price winner, Amy Willerton, insisted: “We are not alike at all. Thank goodness! We dress differently, but I always tell her, ‘You’re your own person, wear what makes you happy.'”
The 33-year-old could easily have deceived viewers, as both the mentor and her protégée appeared with similar hairstyles featuring voluminous curls and dramatic eye makeup.
Katie later seemed to contradict her earlier statement, noting, “When we first met her, she dressed like a proper old lady, and I’m just like, ‘You can’t dress like that!'”
Amy, 19, chimed in: “I was told to immediately get rid of my floral dresses!”
In October, the model was photographed wearing riding jodhpurs paired with a denim shirt and knee-high boots.
Amy, hailing from Bristol, UK, exited the television studios alongside Price, donning a short black dress, a fur coat, and platform heels.
Today, the duo attended a photocall to officially announce Amy’s signing with Katie’s modeling agency.
They both sported matching black catsuits featuring plunging necklines and fishnet panels, complemented by bright orange heels.
When asked about her choice of Amy, Price responded: “She really stood out, and for just nineteen, she’s very mature for her age. No matter the product, I can place her anywhere, and she can hold her own.”
“She has the look, the body,” Katie further explained. “Some people might have mixed opinions about Amy, and when you first meet her, many might think ‘she’s fake’ or ‘this or that.’ Yet, when she’s anxious, she tends to talk a lot, but she’s genuinely not like that.”
Regarding her direct personality, Amy remarked: “I prefer to get things right, and with my work, I want it to reflect my vision. When building your own brand, you need to stay true to yourself; otherwise, you’ll just end up being someone else.”
Price, recently back from a Miami vacation, stressed that she isn’t withdrawing from the limelight. “I’m mentoring Amy through my company, Black Sheep Management, and I want to clarify that I haven’t transitioned into management at the expense of my career—there’s still so much more ahead!” she asserted.
“I’m not done with my personal career… I’m in a wonderful position to mentor someone using my experience because I understand the industry’s ins and outs and can share them with Amy.”
“I still have my underwear line, my fragrances—there’s no way I’m anywhere close to retiring. I have a deal in America, and I’m heading there mid-year.”
“She’s contracted with me, but if she ever wanted to leave, she could. However, I don’t believe she’d want to go anywhere! This is essential for anyone seeking agencies; you often find ones that just want to sign you without support—it’s vital to have that confidence.”
Both have significant plans ahead. Amy disclosed: “I’m going to Paris this weekend for Fashion Week—we have so much lined up, taking a completely different approach, and there are plenty of surprises because everyone assumes I’ll just be imitating Katie.”
