Noel Gallagher, the guitarist from Oasis, has tied the knot with his long-time partner in an extravagant hotel ceremony…but his brother Liam was absent.
The couple, Noel and Sara MacDonald, who share children Donovan, age 3, and Sonny, who is eight months old, celebrated their wedding under tight security, surrounded by family and friends.
Noel, 44, had wished for Liam to attend the event at the Lime Wood Hotel in the New Forest, Hampshire, despite their silence following a fallout prior to a performance in Paris back in 2009.
At the same time, Liam was touring the United States with his new band, Beady Eye, performing in Chicago on the very day Noel exchanged vows.
Noel, along with Sara, 40, first met 11 years ago at a nightclub in Ibiza. They reserved the entire 29-room hotel for the weekend, spending $100,000. Security measures were implemented to keep fans and photographers at bay.
Previously, Noel was married from 1997 to 2001 to interior designer Meg Matthews, 45.
Together, they have an 11-year-old daughter named Anais.
