The latest big name to join A Million Ways To Die In The West is Neil Patrick Harris, marking Seth MacFarlane’s follow-up to Ted.
Joining a stellar ensemble cast that already features Liam Neeson, Charlize Theron, Amanda Seyfried, Sarah Silverman, and Giovanni Ribisi is the How I Met Your Mother star. In addition to his role in the comedy western film, MacFarlane will direct, collaborating on the script with his Ted partners Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild.
Portraying a cowardly chicken farmer who gets dumped by his girlfriend, played by Seyfried, MacFarlane seeks to gain courage from Theron’s character, a mysterious new arrival in town. Neeson will play the outlaw husband of the newcomer, who appears unexpectedly, challenging the farmer’s newfound bravery.
The film is set to hit US cinemas on May 30, 2014, as announced by Universal Pictures.
