Morrissey hints Royals to blame for nurses death

Yesterday, Morrissey suggested that the Duchess of Cambridge was responsible for the suicide of hoax phone call nurse Jacintha Saldanha.

In a disturbing outburst, the former Smiths frontman also criticized the Royal Family for their “staggering” level of arrogance regarding the tragedy.

Additionally, he cast doubt on whether Kate, aged 30, was genuinely suffering from pregnancy-related illness.

Speaking to a New Zealand TV channel, Morrissey, 53, remarked: “So far, no blame has been assigned to Kate Middleton, who, from what I observed, was in the hospital for no valid reason. She seems unfazed by the passing of this woman. The British royals exhibit staggering arrogance.”

He further stated: “Does she have a health issue? Is it anorexia or pregnancy? There was so much fuss, and then as soon as this woman passes away, she leaves the hospital? It just doesn’t seem credible.”

The finding from the post-mortem regarding the death of Mrs. Saldanha, 46, who was a mother of two, is expected to be revealed at her inquest.

Meanwhile, the Australian Communications and Media Authority, the nation’s broadcasting regulator, initiated an investigation last night into the 2Day FM radio station that conducted the hoax call.
