Mel B finds herself facing an urgent injunction imposed by rival Channel 7, which opposes her transition to the Nine Network for Australia’s Got Talent.
Earlier today, Channel 7 brought Brown before the NSW Supreme Court. In the ruling, it was stated that she is “restricted from entering into or executing any agreement with any entity other than Channel 7 to appear on television in Australia until after January 2014.”
The Nine Network previously revealed Mel B as a fresh judge for the reimagined Australia’s Got Talent, set to begin production later this year.
Next Monday will see this case return to court, indicating that the competition between the television networks is intensifying… in front of and behind the camera!
