Madonna should look on the bright side.
Sure, she spent $4 million on a Malawian school project that was pocketed by corrupt officials. But the UK government has sunk $350 million into Malawi, and an investigation last year found no reliable information on how it was spent.
At least Madonna knows where her money went, whereas the British tax-payer wasn’t so lucky.
