Lewis and Nicole split up

After four years together, Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger have officially split.

The stunning singer and US X Factor judge Nicole, along with F1 racing driver Lewis, who first met at the MTV Awards in Munich in 2007, have ended their relationship.

Although they have separated in the past, like in January of this year due to work commitments, friends are indicating that this time it is final.

A source mentioned: “Lewis and Nicole have attempted to make things work but have come to the realization that it’s simply not happening, leading them to conclude this is it for good.”

“They’ve discussed this extensively and reached an agreement that there is no point in continuing as they are constantly on opposite sides of the globe.”

“While they parted on amicable terms, Nicole is truly devastated as she believed Lewis was ‘the one.'”

At 33, Nicole has been balancing her time between her relationship with the 26-year-old Lewis and her numerous professional obligations.

Over the last year, the Hawaiian-born beauty has released and promoted her debut solo album Killer Love, filmed her role in Men In Black III, and secured a position as a judge on US X Factor.

On the other hand, Lewis, who has seemed unsettled lately, has been traveling worldwide with his F1 team McLaren.

After a challenging streak of results, Hamilton returned to the podium last Sunday by finishing second at the Korean Grand Prix.

In addition to their busy careers, they are also separated by distance, with him residing in Geneva, Switzerland, while Nicole has a home in the Hollywood Hills.

The couple has previously discussed their future, but last month, Lewis dismissed any thoughts of starting a family, stating: “I’m still young. It’s a long way away.”

A source concluded: “They still genuinely care for each other, but they’ve chosen to act maturely and pursue their separate paths. There are no hard feelings.”
