Kylie shows interest in having kids

Pop princess and international brand Kylie Minogue, 44, has expressed a desire to have children, but says she doesn’t feel pressure to be married first.

Approaching her silver anniversary at the top of the music business, it seems she has babies on the brain.

She said: ‘Having kids would be marvellous, but marriage? Marriage would be lower on my list.’

Kylie is currently in a serious relationship with Spanish model Andres Velencoso , who she has been seeing since 2008.

However on the topic of marriage she explains:  ‘I need to know I can step outside this room, I won’t, but I do need to know that mentally I have space and freedom. Others would want to know they had those strong foundations, but I’m just a different make-up I guess.’

She also spoke about her enjoyment of quiet, ‘down-time’ with Andres, away from the constant invasion of the paparazzi, often in his Spanish home town where they indulge in the local food.

Aged 44 she has been ruling the music industry for 25 years , and in celebration has released The Abbey Road Sessions…an orchestral album of her greatest hits.

Posing for a special photo shoot for the album in a gold-sequinned dress, coiffed hair and holding the microphone in a seductive manner, she looked every inch the diva.

And despite appearing to defy the aging process (and gravity) Ms Minogue says she has never under gone any cosmetic procedures.

Speculation over the various types of surgical ‘help’ she may have had is rife, and varies from Botox injections and a facelift to bottom implants to enhance her world famous derriere.

Answering the question firmly in the negative, Ms Minogue defensively said: ‘I’m so tired of being asked that question. I’ve been asked it since I was 19, and, to be honest, I’m out of things to say about it.’

Whatever her secret to staying so firm and wrinkle free, it seems to be conducive to a much calmer, and happier Kylie.

In addition to the album, Kylie is releasing her book ‘Kylie/Fashion’ on November 19.

The coffee table book shines a light on the fashion Kylie has worn throughout her 25 years in the business.

She said: ‘This book charts my relationship with some of the most talented people in fashion throughout my career.

But the singing mogul admits she is approaching her career and personal life at a new, slower pace now.

With her breast cancer battle now behind her and her career continuing to flourish, it looks like a baby may be the next challenge we see our Australian icon take on.
