Kylie Minogue, 44, an international brand and pop princess, has shared her wish to have children but asserts she feels no pressure to marry first.
As she nears her 25th anniversary in the music industry, it appears that thoughts of motherhood are on her mind.
She mentioned: ‘Having kids would be marvellous, but marriage? Marriage would be lower on my list.’
Currently, Kylie is in a serious relationship with Spanish model Andres Velencoso, dating back to 2008.
Addressing the subject of marriage, she explained: ‘I need to know I can step outside this room; I won’t, but I do need to know that mentally I have space and freedom. Others might seek strong foundations, but I suppose I’m just different.’
She also expressed her appreciation for quiet moments with Andres, away from the relentless paparazzi, often enjoying the local cuisine in his hometown in Spain.
At 44, she continues to dominate the music scene for 25 years, celebrating her journey with the release of The Abbey Road Sessions, an orchestral collection of her greatest hits.
Dressed in a gold-sequinned gown during a special photoshoot for the album, complete with styled hair and a seductive microphone pose, she embodied the essence of a diva.
Despite seemingly defying age (and gravity), Ms. Minogue insists she has never undergone cosmetic procedures.
Speculation about possible surgical enhancements has been rampant, ranging from Botox and facelifts to bottom implants aimed at enhancing her iconic figure.
Definitively answering the question, Ms. Minogue responded: ‘I’m so tired of being asked that question. I’ve been asked since I was 19, and honestly, I have nothing more to say about it.’
Whatever her secret for maintaining youthful firmness and smoothness, it evidently contributes to a more serene and content Kylie.
In conjunction with the album release, Kylie will debut her book ‘Kylie/Fashion’ on November 19.
This coffee table book highlights the fashion choices she has made over her 25 years in the industry.
She shared: ‘This book reflects my journey with some of the most talented individuals in fashion throughout my career.’
However, the singing mogul admits she is now approaching her career and personal life at a more measured pace.
With her breast cancer battle behind her and a flourishing career, it seems that motherhood might be the next adventure for our beloved Australian icon.
