JWoww really shouldn’t be wearing that dress

The occasion was meant to be a dazzling event featuring reality stars hosting a special MTV New Year’s Show from Times Square.

However, Jersey Shore’s Jennifer ‘JWoww’ Farley might rethink her choice of an ultra short glittering dress for the celebration.

At one moment, the reality star’s blue sequinned frock rose to nearly inappropriate levels, revealing a significant portion of her upper thigh.

While the blue glittering dress covered JWoww’s arms, it barely managed to maintain her modesty due to its extremely short cut.

She paired the frock with a stylish updo, eye-catching jewelry, and high heels.

In comparison, her castmate Snooki wore a slightly more modest outfit featuring a black and silver mini ‘mullet’ dress with a long black skirt.

Although Snooki’s newly dyed red hair cascaded down her shoulders and added drama, the petite star stood only up to JWoww’s ample chest, even with her shimmering high heels.

The night certainly had its share of drama, with JWoww tweeting: ‘Opening @MTV New Year’s Eve with the teleprompter going out and me and @snooki improving!!! (sic) Holy shit wild,’ she wrote.

Additionally, JWoww appeared to be struggling with the aftermath of the festivities, tweeting that New Year’s Day ought to be designated as ‘National Hangover Day.’

‘For some of you, one of my favorite holidays began last night when you were blackout drunk and passed out next to the nearest toilet!’ she remarked on her website. ‘Great job. For the rest of you… good luck making it through today!! Haha!’

The duo were not the only celebrities partaking in New Year’s Eve celebrations in New York.

Jenny McCarthy was her typical outrageous self while co-hosting Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest, and she was swept off her feet with a kiss from soldier Benjamin Moore right at midnight.
