According to Justin Bieber’s manager, the singer’s “balls have dropped”.
Scooter Braun, who manages the pint-sized popstar, mentioned that Bieber faced challenges while recording a duet of ‘All I Want For Christmas’ with Mariah Carey due to his voice breaking and not maintaining the same high pitch as before. This track will be part of Bieber’s upcoming holiday album, ‘Underneath The Mistletoe’.
Braun commented, “Vocally, his balls have dropped.”
He continued to express that the collaboration with Carey was quite challenging, stating, “That was the hardest song to do. A year ago that would have been no problem.”
Steve Bartels, president of Island Def Jam, also noted the evolution in Bieber’s vocals, explaining: “The album really shows his growth as a young man, and his voice has just blossomed. It will pleasantly surprise many people. It’s not your typical holiday album.”
‘Underneath The Mistletoe’ was released by Bieber on November 1. In addition, the teen sensation is presently working on his second solo album, titled ‘Believe’, which is expected to include collaborations with hip hop artists Kanye West and Drake.
